Scientific name: Lates Calcarifer Origin: Vietnam Description Barramundi or Asian sea bass is found in coastal waters and rivers within a temperature range of 26-30°C. The meat has a mild flavour and white, flaky flesh.
The fish is growing in popularity as it is deemed as 'Best Choice' under the Seafood Watch sustainability program.
